About Us

Clare Plant Nursery was proudly established in early 2014 by Joanne and Brian Tilbrook. Working towards their vision to create a vibrant local nursery, they aimed to offer a diverse range of plants and garden products to choose from.
In July of 2016, they relocated their store to a new site, to expand on the already growing range of plants, and to branch into more giftware, outdoor living furniture and even an espresso coffee shop.
Located in the heart of Clare, SA, our store can supply you with all of your gardening and outdoor living needs! We provide free local delivery for any hard-to-handle products and do our best to make your shopping experience a pleasant one.

Plants

Whether it's indoor or outdoor, we pride ourselves on offering a diverse range of plants. We have a wide range of plants available to compliment your preferred garden styles.

Plant care products are just as important to gardening as water or light. That is why we stock all your essential garden tools, soils, fertilisers, and pesticides necessary for looking after your garden. If you need advice on what product is suitable, our staff would be happy to point you in the right direction.

Pots

From window-sills to garden center-pieces we have a wide variety of shapes, sizes and colors. Our pots are available in terracotta, concrete, plastic and numerous other materials. We stock imported products as well as locally made pots.

Statues, Fountains and birdbaths

Our experienced staff are knowledgeable about what plants are suitable for local areas. We are able to design amazing gardens that are easy to manage in South Australian conditions. We have a large range of plants to choose from and during the design process you will be informed every step of the way. See in-store for a quote.

Irrigation, Hardware and Plumbing supplies

Whether its fixing a toilet or watering your garden we can help you get the job done! Not the down and dirty sort-of gardener? We have a wide range of irrigation supplies to help you keep your garden well-hydrated all year round. We stock fittings, hoses and taps of many designs and functions.

Woodheaters

We have a comprehensive range of combustion heaters, portable gas heaters, as well as all the accompanying accessories. These including the worlds most efficient wood heater with over 80% burn efficiency. We stock leading Australian brands, including Jindara and Kent.

In-store Coffee Shop

Serving barista-made coffees and café food you can enjoy a meal inside at our eating area or outside among the garden. Open every day, we make barista-grade coffee and offer slices, cakes and light lunches. Not a coffee drinker? We also serve milkshakes, hot chocolates and many other beverages, hot or cold.
